Ferguson Police Arrest News Reporters

Two reportes were arrested amidst the turmoil in Ferguson while reporting on the protest to the Michael Brown shooting. The reporters say they were assaulted by the Ferguson police and then taken to jail. One of the reporters contacted the police chief who then made some calls and eventually the reporters were released.

The reports said the Ferguson police didn’t cooperate by giving names and badge numbers of the arresting officers. This story is just an example of the injustice that is currently taking place in Ferguson. The Call Starring Halle Berry was Surprisingly Good

The Call which stars award winning actress Halle Berry was surprisingly good. Halle Berry plays a 911 operator in the movie who becomes emotionally attached to the victim. I didn’t expect much going in as kidnapping movies have been done millions of times, but this one manages to keep you interested throughout the whole movie. Morris Chestnut plays a cop and he also happens to be Halle Berry’s love interest in the movie.

Below is The Call movie trailer:

The Movie Sparkle Delivers!

Just saw the movie Sparkle yesterday and I really enjoyed it. All the performances by the actors were excellent and the Sparkle soundtrack is outstanding. The movie features Jordin Sparks, Mike Epps, Cello Green, and Whitney Houston in her final role as well as many others. If you like the movie Dream Girls, then you’ll love Sparkle as I thought it was a better.

Here is a trailer for the movie Sparkle:
