On August 28, 2013 people from all over this great country will converge upon our nation’s capital to commemorate and celebrate the historic March On Washington which took place 50 years ago on August 28, 1963. This 50th anniversary march is tied the “March for Jobs and Justice”. President Obama will speak near the Lincoln memorial and address the nation from the very spot where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream Speech” 50 years ago on August 28, 1963.
